OPP begins installation of the new slitting line
OPP receives new Braner slitting line equipment on-site and begins installation and commissioning work. The installation is expected to be complete by March 31, 2022
OPP installs new overhead crane
OPP installs a new overhead crane for the coil receiving area. The crane, manufactured by Michigan-based CRB Crane and Service Company, is a Top Running Double Girder Overhead Bridge Crane with a 35-ton load capacity equipped with a built-in scale and scoreboard. The new crane is part of a company-wide modernization program aimed at improvements in processing turn-around times and service reliability.

OPP launches New Pickling Coil Entry Line
OPP completes a 6-week long Pickling Line modernization outage by launching a new RBI coil entry line on schedule.
OPP completes 2021 ISO 9001 audit
Ohio Pickling and Processing team successfully completes the 2021 ISO 9001 audit. The Audit report has had ZERO findings, a testament to the OPP rigid production and quality control practices and systems.
OPP adds Kalmar coil mover
OPP adds the 3rd Kalmar Coil Moving Truck into its fleet. The Truck can lift steel coils up to 72,000 Lbs. This addition increases the reliability and sustainability of OPP operations and ensures no interruptions of receiving and shipping
OPP adds TrackMobile to its fleet
The new TrackMobile will operate on-site moving rail cars while loading and unloading. It can push up to 20 fully loaded rail cars in any weather conditions. With this TrackMobile, OPP can reliably accept rail shipments from customers and ensure uninterrupted service.
